Julia and Michael's Wedding at Slepe Hall Hotel, St. Ives

I cannot believe it is already around 8 months ago, that Julia and Michael got married and that I did not get around writing a blog about that awesome day until now. Despite the time, I remember it as if it was yesterday... lots of happy and great memories. Michael and his groom's party got prepped at David William Barber Shop in St Ives, including grooming, shaving, styling and a few rounds of Arcade games - getting ready for the wedding in style. Since the shop is directly next to the Chapel Bridge in St. Ives, a few photos on the bridge were an absolute must. Afterwards, I headed to Julia's mums house, where the ladies got ready. I cannot describe how wonderful Julia looked in her dress by Heart Brides and the sublime bouquet by Penny. The ceremony took place in the St. John the Baptist Church in Holywell. Afterwards we started with the group photos, but were interrupted by some heavy rain which caught me quite a bit by surprise. Luckily, it only lasted a few minutes and could not stop Julia and Michael, so we went into the Holywell Meadows for the couple shoot. Meanwhile, the guest headed to Slepe Hall Hotel, where the reception took place. We joined them a bit later and could finish the group photos in the garden of Slepe Hall. The reception continued then with the wonderful and touching speeches. I could not count the amount of toast Michael has done – but believe me, there were lots and they were very entertaining! After dinner, the evening guest arrived and after the cake cutting and the first dance, the party started. And what a great party it was! Not sure if the guests noticed that Julia, Michael and me sneaked out for half an hour to take some photos on the Chapel Bridge by night.

The whole day was amazing. It is a true joy to see Julia and Michael together and I am honoured that I was part of their special day and could captured it. I wish you lots of joy and happiness for your lives together.
